OpenWay Wins Award for ‘Best Solution Provider for Payment Systems in the Cloud.

OpenWay has been recognized as ‘Best Solution Provider for Payment Systems in the Cloud’ at the PayTech Awards ceremony in London. The company received acclaim for the success of its project with Enfuce, the Nordic cloud-based issuing processor, and for the overall excellence of the WAY4 platform in processing cloud payments.

The PayTech Awards recognize excellence and innovation in the use of IT in the finance and payment industry worldwide. The judges include independent payment experts from banks, payment schemes, consulting companies and media.

According to Accenture, 94% of financial institutions have or are planning to conduct formal analysis of their legacy applications to migrate to the cloud. The number of banks who spend more than 10% of their budget on cloud services is projected to increase by 17% over the next three years. Companies rely on cloud technologies to optimize their operating and maintenance costs, ensure quick onboarding of new clients, and drive payment innovations of every scale and geography. WAY4 is a proven cloud-agnostic platform, meaning that it can be deployed on leading cloud platforms Oracle Cloud, AWS, and Microsoft Azure, as well as others. It is highly scalable for a broad range of processing volumes – from those of small startups to huge portfolios containing millions of cards and wallets, with hundreds of thousands of merchants.

“Collaboration is a core value of Enfuce. We believe that positive change within the payment industry can only be achieved through teamwork. We are happy about the recognition of our successful project with OpenWay and are looking forward to the many future projects that lie ahead of us,” states Monika Liikamaa, Co-founder and Chairman of the Board at Enfuce.

“We congratulate everyone at OpenWay and Enfuce who made this achievement possible. This honor is a result of innovative vision, teamwork and technological excellence from both companies. We are proud to provide the solutions that drive meaningful change to the way our clients deliver services to their customers,” comments Maria Vinogradova, Director of Strategy and Market Intelligence at OpenWay.
