Hi Alberto, what’s your role at Enfuce—and what’s one surprising thing people might not know about it?
I am an Engineering Manager responsible for our transaction processing systems. My role involves a deep technical understanding paired with a strategic, continuous-improvement mindset, ensuring our teams deliver effectively and efficiently.
I’m passionate about trail running. At least a couple of times a year, you’ll find me spending over 10 hours racing up and down mountains! And it’s during daily training that I find solutions to some of our work conundrums.

What first brought you to Enfuce?
Having worked extensively in fintech and payment processing across different growth stages, I wanted to be part of a team aiming high, not just to grow but to excel and mature sustainably. It was clear to me before the start: Enfuce was exactly the kind of ambitious journey I wanted to be part of, joining at the exact moment where I can help the most.

What has been the most memorable moment/achievement during your time here?
Remote work offers many advantages, but my most memorable experience was my first onsite in the Finnish countryside. Meeting my colleagues there and enjoying two unforgettable days filled with a good balance of meetings and social activities stands out, topped by the unique experience of ice swimming in a frozen lake 🥶!
If your Enfuce journey were a movie, what would the title be?
My journey at Enfuce reminds me of Inception, as everything we do here has layers. There’s the day-to-day delivery, the ongoing improvements, and the long-term transformation we’re aiming for. At times it can be intense or even a bit messy, but with the incredibly smart 🧠 and supportive people I work with, you start to navigate those layers with more clarity. The further in you go, the more impact you can have. And honestly, I am motivated to work across all those layers 🌀 whether it’s fostering the development of engineers, investigating anomalies to identify their underlying causes, or enhancing the reliability of our systems to support our anticipated growth over the next years.

Looking ahead, what are you excited about in the future?
Each successful transaction has a satisfied cardholder with a story behind that payment. Knowing my work directly contributes to millions of these personal stories each month motivates me deeply. I am genuinely looking forward to continue ensuring we don´t fail them, and that we have even more satisfied people relying on our services, and always working towards making our processes quicker, better, and even more reliable.
