Great workplaces aren’t found. They’re built, with intention, energy and the right people. At Enfuce, we’ve built something extraordinary. We bring together the brightest minds and the best technology to drive meaningful change in the world.

Whether you’re just starting your journey, stepping into leadership, or chasing your next big challenge, Enfuce is a place where you can truly thrive.

To help you prepare, we caught up with Bobby Beg, our Talent Acquisition Partner here at Enfuce, for an inside look at what makes a standout Enfuce interview. Let’s dive in.

What makes a candidate stand out from the very first call?

To stand out from the very first call, a candidate should demonstrate a combination of preparation, self-awareness, and enthusiasm. At Enfuce, we truly value candidates who stay focused and on topic during conversations. It’s equally important to be honest about your experience and what you have or haven’t done.

We understand that not everyone will be a perfect fit from the outset, and that’s okay. What matters most is self-awareness and the potential to grow. We’re passionate about hiring people not just for who they are today, but for who they can become.

At Enfuce, culture is key. What kind of values do you look for in a new team member?

As a female-led organization, we’re looking for people who are open-minded, approachable, and eager to work in diverse, multinational teams. Our team represents 23 different nationalities, with women holding 50% of senior leadership roles.

We thrive on rich collaboration, where the goal is simple: we all win or none of us do. It’s about building an environment where smart people feel empowered to share their opinions, challenge ideas constructively, and grow together.

How important is previous fintech or payments experience?

It really varies, to be honest. For some roles particularly in areas like card issuing or payments processing we do require candidates to come from a fintech or payments background, given the specialised industry knowledge involved.

That said, it’s assessed on a case-by-case basis. While having experience in this space is certainly a bonus, it’s not a deal-breaker especially when it comes to roles in Product & Technology (P&T). For those, we’re focused on finding the best candidate based on skills, potential, and mindset.

What are some of the biggest mistakes candidates make, and how can they avoid them?

We often find that people haven’t taken the time to read our “Who We Are” page or explore what makes our culture unique. That matters, because at Enfuce, hiring for culture fit is just as important as skills and experience.

We’re looking for people who are curious, collaborative, and excited by working in diverse, high-performing teams. So don’t be afraid to show your personality, share your values, and tell us why our way of working resonates with you.

Is there anything candidates should know about Enfuce’s interview process before they step in?

Every interview is a two-way street. It’s your opportunity to get to know us, just as much as it is ours to learn about you. We genuinely welcome your questions and encourage open, honest conversations. Our goal is to find the right fit for both sides, so enjoy the journey and embrace the process.

As we grow, we’re always on the lookout for curious minds and passionate people ready to make a difference. Take a look at our  open roles —and see for yourself why we’re known as the happiest place in payments.
