Over 500,000 customers migrated in just seven months with zero downtime, setting a new standard for complex portfolio transitions in the Nordics.

Web Summit, Lisbon – November 13 2025 – Card issuing and processing powerhouse Enfuce has successfully partnered with Avida, the Swedish consumer and SME financing specialist, to deliver one of the largest and fastest credit card migrations ever completed in the Nordics.

In just seven months, from contract signing in February to full completion by October 2025, Avida and Enfuce successfully migrated more than 500,000 customers, including 556,039 consumer credit cards and 94,009 installment plans, all delivered seamlessly, with no service disruption.

The migration followed Avida’s 2024 acquisition of Santander’s sales finance and credit card portfolio in Norway and Sweden, with Enfuce selected to integrate the portfolio into Avida’s existing ecosystem while ensuring a seamless transition for all customers.

Setting a new benchmark for large-scale migrations.

Completing a migration of this scale in just seven months sets a new benchmark for the Nordic region. From contract signing to full delivery, the project was executed with exceptional speed and precision.

Despite the complexity, including the migration of digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay, the transition was completed with zero downtime, ensuring uninterrupted service for customers throughout. This achievement reflects the strength of the partnership between Avida and Enfuce, and the proven effectiveness of Enfuce’s structured migration model.

Precision in every step.

The success of this migration is a testament to the effectiveness of Enfuce’s structured seven-step migration process. Built on meticulous planning, rigorous testing, and close collaboration, the framework ensures that every stage, from data mapping to go-live, is executed safely, efficiently, and with absolute precision.

Completing one of the most complex migrations in Enfuce’s history in record time is a clear demonstration of the scalability and strength of its modular, cloud-native platform. For Avida’s customers, the outcome is a smooth, uninterrupted credit experience across both digital and physical channels, powered by secure, future-ready technology.

This project marks a significant milestone for both companies and builds on Enfuce’s strong momentum through 2025, a year defined by new partnerships and market launches. Looking ahead to 2026, this success underscores Enfuce’s strategic focus on deepening its European footprint, supporting financial institutions with smooth digital transformation journeys, and proving that even the most challenging migrations can be done safely and seamlessly.

Denise Johansson, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Enfuce, said: “This migration was a strategic and operational milestone, not only for its scale and speed, but for the remarkable collaboration that made it possible. Both the Avida and Enfuce teams worked side by side, combining expertise, determination, and trust to build something of a scale neither of us had done before. It’s a true demonstration of what strong partnerships can achieve.”

Monika Liikamaa, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Enfuce, said: “This was one of the most complex migrations we’ve ever undertaken, half a million customers, two markets, multiple product types, and we delivered it in record time, with zero downtime. That’s not luck; it’s the result of our proven migration model combined with the dedication and teamwork from both sides. Avida and Enfuce pushed boundaries together, showing what’s possible when you share a vision and work as one.”

Mikael Johansson CEO of Avida, said: “I am genuinely impressed by the dedication and professionalism shown by both the Avida and Enfuce teams. From the very beginning, the cooperation has been characterized by a positive atmosphere and strong teamwork. Dedicated to deliver. Successfully migrating a card portfolio of this scale in such a short time is a remarkable achievement.”
