Nordic payment service provider Enfuce is proud to have signed The Climate Pledge. Among over 200 businesses and organizations all over the world that have signed The Climate Pledge, Enfuce is committed to net zero carbon by 2040 and working to build a safe and healthy planet for future generations.

We are proud to be a signatory of The Climate Pledge as sustainability guides everything we do. By wanting to build a company that has a long-term positive impact, sustainability has been at the core of Enfuce since day one.

Monika Liikamaa, CEO and Co-Founder at Enfuce

Co-founded by Amazon and Global Optimism in 2019, The Climate Pledge is a cross-sector community of companies, organizations, individuals, and partners working together to crack the climate crisis and solve the challenges of decarbonizing our economy. Some of the signatories include well-known tech companies such as Uber, Amazon, IBM and Klarna.

As a signatory of The Climate Pledge, Enfuce will:

1. Measure and report greenhouse gas emissions on a regular basis;

2. Implement decarbonization strategies in line with the Paris Agreement through real business changes and innovations, including efficiency improvements, renewable energy, materials reductions, and other carbon emission elimination strategies;

3. Neutralize any remaining emissions with additional, quantifiable, real, permanent, and socially-beneficial offsets to achieve net zero annual carbon emissions by 2040.

As a part of our commitment to The Climate Pledge, Enfuce is, and already has been enabling change through My Carbon Action, a transaction-based carbon footprint calculator launched in 2019, which uses a country-specific scientific data model and user input on individual lifestyle choices.

Consumption patterns and the shift towards a 1.5-degree lifestyle should be an integral part of addressing climate change. That’s why we developed My Carbon Action, which we offer to banks, merchants and financial service providers who want to help their customers live more sustainably.

Monika Liikamaa, CEO and Co-Founder at Enfuce

Enfuce is committed to reaching net-zero carbon emissions already by 2030 and to helping all its customers to innovate services to fight climate change and educate the people of the world, regardless of where they live, to have a positive impact. Thanks to AWS, all of Enfuce’s services are already powered by 100% renewable energy.

I believe that now, more than ever, companies like Amazon have an obligation to lead the fight for our planet. But, solving this challenge cannot be accomplished by one company; it requires all of us to act together, and it’s one of the reasons we’re so excited to announce that more than 200 businesses have joined us in signing The Climate Pledge—a commitment to reach the goals of the Paris Agreement 10 years early.

Andy Jassy, Amazon CEO

There is no denying the climate crisis anymore, and that is why we at Enfuce wish for companies and organizations all across the globe to join us in The Climate Pledge to make a real impact in the fight against humanity’s greatest challenge – the climate crisis.
