My Seat at The Table: Daphne Noordhoff on Unity, and Building People-First Success.

Join us as we sit down with Daphne Noordhoff, Chief People Officer, for another edition of “My Seat at the Table”—a blog series dedicated to showcasing just a few of the extraordinary women at Enfuce, and the lasting impact they make every day—not just during International Women’s Month.
Enfuce believes that having a seat at the table is more than just being present; it’s about driving change, amplifying voices, and ensuring talent—not tradition—shapes the future.
Follow along as Daphne discusses the power of collaboration, inclusivity, and building an environment where both people and businesses thrive, while also sharing her perspective about how having the right support system can make all the difference.
What is your role at Enfuce?
I’m Enfuce’s Chief People Officer. I’m responsible for architecting our people strategy, ensuring our employees are not just engaged and high-performing, but also empowered to reach our goals and fuel business growth. We’re the minds behind culture, talent, and organisational success. We blend strategy, innovation, and leadership to create a workplace where Enfucers can thrive.

Why do you think International Women’s Day is important?
Of course it’s a moment to celebrate all the beautiful women out there! I think about the incredible women in my life—my mum, my sisters, my friends—who have had a great influence on my view of the world.
It’s a great time to reflect on what we’ve already achieved in equality between men and women, but also a reminder that while we’ve come a long way, there’s still a lot to do. Gender equality shouldn’t just be something we acknowledge once a year—it should be part of everything we do, every day, across generations.

How would you encourage other women to speak up in professional settings?
As a woman in leadership, I’ve seen firsthand the progress we’ve made toward gender equality in the workplace. But I’ve also noticed that some women still feel the need to be competitive or protective towards other women, as if there’s limited space at the top—or those who feel it’s necessary to fight extra hard just because they identify strongly with their gender.
Rather than just encouraging women to speak up, I want to see us unite more—to support each other, amplify each other’s voices, and strengthen our position together. True leadership isn’t about standing alone—it’s about rising together.

Who are some women who inspire you?
I wouldn’t say looking “up” to someone really fits my personality, whether it be men or women. However, I do admire and draw inspiration from women.
Naturally, my mum comes to mind first for the way she raised me and my sisters. But some credit goes to my dad as he showed the power of femininity to his daughters and prepared us for the fact that the path for women in business wouldn’t be without challenges. I’m also inspired by my sisters—each in different ways. One for her pure, authentic spirit, always acting as my mirror and reminding me to stay true to myself. And my eldest sister, a single mother, who balances motherhood, a full-time job, and a role as a marketing professor—something I find incredibly admirable.
Also, for the first time in my career, I have the privilege of working for two female founders and CEOs, it’s a blessing. In my previous roles, the HR agenda was often pushed aside or moved at a slower pace. However, with Monika and Denise, the importance of People at Enfuce is naturally ingrained at the core of the business. On top of that, we share the common experience of being women in a male-dominated world, which fosters a deeper understanding, shared reflections, and a natural ease in conversations that makes a real difference.

What’s your biggest advice for women breaking into fintech?
Nothing different from what I say to any woman!
✅ Build strong networks and use them strategically.
✅ Find mentors who will support your growth.
✅ Be assertive and recognise your own worth—confidence and a balanced mindset can take you further than you think.
✅ Embrace your body, take good care of it, and be proud of being a woman and all the value you can bring to a workplace.
A seat for everyone.
Daphne’s story is a powerful reminder that strong leadership isn’t about one person’s success—it’s about the collective strength of a team. At Enfuce, we don’t just talk about inclusion, empowerment, and progress—we build businesses that thrive because of them.
Because when strong women lead, strong businesses follow.
Thank you, Daphne!
