Hi Dianabelle, can you give us a brief introduction to your role at Enfuce?

I’m Dianabelle. I am part of the Finance Team and working as an Accountant – focusing on ELS operations. My main responsibilities are ensuring that all customer settlements will be processed in a timely manner and adhere to pre-funding requirements to maintain the license of BIN Sponsorship operation with the schemes. I also make sure that all the cards will have no issue with the threshold authorizations exposure. I am currently focused on handling inquiries from internal and external customers related to pre-funding, bank transactions and schemes fees.

What first brought you to Enfuce?

I moved to Finland in 2021 and was looking for a job for almost a year and fortunately found an opportunity to apply to Enfuce when there was an opening in the Finance team. At first I was not really eligible for the position I applied for but I was so thankful when Enfuce gave me the chance to work as a part-timer in a newly established service of ELS.

How would you describe Enfuce in 3 words?

Unforeseen, Perfect, Surprise. 

When I was hired by Enfuce, it happened at a very unexpected time. I was about to give up my accounting profession and shift to programming to start again from scratch. Everything happened so fast and being at Enfuce for almost 2 years makes me so happy and satisfied because I get to work in a  harmonious environment and with amazing people. Enfuce affords me the luxury of doing the things I love most, which are numbers and to travel and explore new places.

What has been the most memorable moment/achievement during your time here?

I joined when there was only one customer in ELS for BIN Sponsorship and as time passed by we gained more customers and were able to set up processes and guidelines.It is an achievement to witness how much this service has grown. Personally, I take pride in demonstrating to our partner, Visa, how effectively we managed the pilot project for pre-funding and settlement.

Can you describe a challenge you faced while working here and how you overcame it?

Handling settlement and related visa passthrough fees during the early phase has been a great challenge for me. With  limited knowledge of how the business works and how to handle customers’ inquiry with finite comprehension of the passthrough fees, I could not provide the customer with an efficient response. Now, focusing on more value-added tasks like creating a Visa Fee Reference Guide not only helps us address the customer inquiries effectively but also lowers the cost we are paying from our own funds.

Looking at our company values (rich collaboration, smart people, beyond expectations, value creators) which one resonates with you the most and why?

Beyond Expectations. Whatever I do, whether it is work related or activities outside the workplace, I always give 100% percent of my dedication. It is my life mantra to always offer everything I can to fulfill my tasks and responsibilities. I always keep in mind to think outside the box and offer more than the bare minimum.

Looking ahead, what are you excited about in the future?

To become a better thinker. To learn new strategies and to pursue creative solutions related to ELS Operations BIN Sponsorship so we may provide an outstanding service to our current and future customers.
