In this episode we’re excited to speak with Michael Fabricius, AKA Mikkis, our Solution Consultant here at Enfuce, who guides our clients through our card solutions and transform their visions into reality.

Hi Mikkis, can you give us a brief introduction of your role at Enfuce?

My role as a solution consultant is to guide new and existing clients through their card programme. There is no one way of doing things when it comes to launching a payment card programme, so I aim to give my expert guidance based on the clients vision and goals. It can be anything from supporting with the value proposition to more technical decisions like whether to hold the record of balances with Enfuce vs. a 3rd party. 

What first brought you to Enfuce?

I’m an old-timer when it comes to Enfucers, haha. I worked within the card issuing team with our Co-CEO and Co-founder Monika at a Finnish bank before Enfuce was founded. I really enjoyed working within Fintech and so when I finished my Master’s Thesis in Business Administration I reached out to her. I think I was around the 20th employee at that time. 

How would you describe Enfuce in 3 words?

Commitment to excellence.

What has been the most memorable moment / achievement during your time here?

There are so many moments I feel like I should write a book about the journey! Moving to London as part of Enfuce UK launching has to be one of the most memorable ones. Almost two years since moving, we’ve got a large UK team, we’ve received our UK EMI license and have several incredible UK companies as customers! The future is looking extremely bright.

Can you describe a challenge you faced while working here and how you overcame it

Working for high-growth companies is always challenging because processes are developed on the go, and your role evolves based on the needs of the company and the people around you at any given time. That’s what keeps it so interesting. But it can be challenging at times – to take control of your own situation and role and make sure you prioritise your time on the things that matter the most for the company. 

I’d say rich collaboration and beyond expectations resonate the most with me. Probably because they align with my own values. I set the bar high and go for gold, but the only way to succeed is through collaboration – something we are very good at, here at Enfuce.

How do you see yourself contributing to Enfuce’s success in the future?

I believe I’ll continue to contribute to Enfuce’s success by continuing to learn and honing my skills, but also taking the knowledge I’ve gathered in the past 6 years (most recently within sales) to other parts of the organisation where fit.
